Fundraising Events

Operating a community outreach like the Middleton Food Pantry requires resources. Although we are a 100% volunteer workforce, we still require financial support for fixed and operational costs. Fundraising is our primary way of acquiring financial resources.

Duck Races

Every year during the city's 4th of July celebration, we hold our duck races. We sell numbered plastic ducks which are placed into containers representing donated prizes of interest. On race day, each container is dumped into the creek from an upstream bridge. The first duck to the downstream finish line wins the prize associated with that container! This is repeated until all containers of purchased ducks have raced, and a winner for all donated prizes has been announced.

Yard Sale

An annual yard sale is another way we fundraise. This has been done in the past but is not currently scheduled.

Classic Car Show

White Vintage Corvette

Each year the Middleton Chamber of  Commerce coordinates with local car enthusiasts to put on a classic car show as part of the Middleton 4th of July celebration events. Typically, the show is held in the morning at Middleton Place Park. The Chamber's board also decides each year, the recipient of the proceeds.

In 2022 and 2023, the Middleton Food Pantry was the grateful recipient of proceeds from this event.

Pasta Dinner

An Annual pasta dinner is another way we fundraise. This has been done in the past but is not currently scheduled.
